ParnellRanch Miss Barbie Doll, affectionately known as both “Barbie” and “Dolly,” is a breathtaking purebred Clydesdale mare whose glamorous appearance is matched by a lifetime of genuine experience. Standing an impressive 17 hands, Barbie is a rich sorrel mare with a striking flaxen-blonde mane and tail. Foaled on March 11, 2018, she is sired by Lucebay Parnell’s Perfection and out of Belleau W.S. Jeannie.

The unusual contrast between Barbie’s warm sorrel coat and luminous blonde mane and tail makes her instantly recognizable. It is especially uncommon to encounter a sorrel Clydesdale with this appearance, and we feel extraordinarily fortunate to have both Barbie and Maggie displaying this remarkable coloring within our herd. Barbie’s beauty and commanding presence have rightfully earned her the nickname “The Blonde Bombshell.”

Barbie came to Crown Cavalo from Classic City Clydesdales in Georgia, where she proved herself in nearly every role one could ask of a mare. She was used as a broodmare, carried riders through their trail-riding program, and worked in harness as part of a two-horse driving team.
