Graceful in name, powerful in movement, and unmistakably regal in presence, Crown Cavalo Princess Diana—affectionately known as “Princess”—is an exceptional black tobiano F2 Drum Horse filly and a treasured part of the Crown Cavalo program. Foaled March 8, 2024, Princess is registered with the International Drum Horse Association as D1004M. She is sired by the legendary 17.1-hand F2 Drum Horse Alexander the Great PRR and out of the 16.2-hand IDHA Premium mare PS Faelyn Primrose.

Already standing an impressive 16 hands, Princess is developing into a tall, substantial, and beautifully athletic young mare. She possesses the size and commanding presence expected of a Drum Horse, while retaining an elegance and refinement that make her especially memorable. Naturally athletic and expressive in her movement, she has the ability and versatility to pursue a future in riding, driving, showing, or breeding.

Her pedigree combines 37.5% Gypsy, 50% Shire, and 12.5% Clydesdale, bringing together the beauty and feather of the Gypsy, the height and strength of the Shire, and the substance and powerful movement of the Clydesdale.

Princess holds a particularly meaningful place in our hearts as the last daughter of Alexander the Great born in the United States. Even more remarkably, her recorded color genetics are exactly the same as her sire’s: EEaaTT. Like Alexander, Princess is genetically black and homozygous tobiano, preserving his unmistakable genetic signature in a daughter who so beautifully reflects his presence, quality, and legacy.
