A Supreme Grand Champion and influential foundation sire, Arthur helped establish the standard for the American Drum Horse through his commanding size, traditional conformation, abundant feather, athletic presence, and famously kind disposition.

Standing an impressive 16.2½ hands, Arthur is the result of an extraordinary pairing. He was sired by the renowned Gypsy Vanner stallion Clononeen Ard Ri and is out of the magnificent Clydesdale mare Lady Abbigail of Avalon. This distinguished heritage produced the substance, elegance, height, and unmistakable presence that Crown Cavalo strives to preserve in every generation.

Crown Cavalo is uniquely privileged to continue Arthur’s legacy through an exclusive and carefully managed breeding program. We are the only Drum Horse breeding farm with the opportunity and resources to produce future foals by this legendary sire, making each Arthur offspring exceptionally rare.

Our Arthur foals are thoughtfully created with the goal of preserving his most remarkable qualities: impressive height, correct conformation, substantial bone, beautiful feather, willing temperaments, and the gentle, people-oriented nature for which he is known.

Select Arthur offspring will be retained to strengthen the future of the Crown Cavalo breeding program. On rare occasions, a limited number may be offered to exceptional homes that appreciate the significance of his pedigree and the opportunity to own a living part of Drum Horse history.
