From his earliest days, Tequila has impressed us with his extraordinary size, tremendous bone, and unmistakable draft-horse presence. We never imagined that we would produce a colt with the potential to become quite as large as Tequila, but as he continues to develop, we genuinely believe he could mature at or near an incredible 18 hands. He is not simply tall—he has the substance, structure, and commanding appearance to become the kind of horse who makes people stop and take notice. His current profile lists an expected mature height of 18 hands.

Foaled April 25, 2026, Tequila is a breathtaking smoky black tobiano Drum Horse colt, sired by Crown Cavalo Ritz Carlton and out of the purebred Clydesdale mare ParnellRanch Miss Barbie Doll. His thoughtfully balanced pedigree is 25% Gypsy, 18.75% Shire, and 56.25% Clydesdale, giving him a strong Clydesdale influence while preserving the feather, elegance, color, and traditional character associated with his Gypsy and Shire heritage.

More Than a Black-and-White Colt

Although Tequila appears black and white, he is genetically smoky black tobiano—EeaaCrcrTt. Hidden beneath his dark coat are both a cream gene and a recessive red gene. As a future stallion, he can contribute cream, red, and tobiano genetics to his offspring, opening the possibility of producing an exciting variety of colors and patterns when paired with appropriately selected and color-tested mares. The eventual color of each foal would depend upon the genetics contributed by the mare.
