Crown Cavalo Ritz Carlton represents the standard we strive to create at Crown Cavalo: exceptional beauty, commanding presence, athletic ability, and an unmistakably kind temperament.

Standing an impressive 16 hands, Ritz is a double-dilute, homozygous tobiano Drum Horse stallion whose genetics offer extraordinary consistency. Every foal he sires will inherit both a cream gene and the tobiano pattern, creating highly desirable color possibilities without sacrificing the substance, movement, and gentle character that define a quality Drum Horse.

Ritz was never rushed. He was given the time to mature properly and was not started under saddle until after his third birthday, following a complete veterinary evaluation and radiographs confirming his readiness. He is now in dedicated training with Heather Meyer, owner of Reimagine Horsemanship, LLC, whose relationship-based approach focuses on trust, communication, and developing a willing partnership between horse and rider.

That thoughtful foundation is evident in everything Ritz does. He is intelligent, affectionate, and eager to connect, with the endearing, puppy-like personality for which he is known. His especially gentle relationship with our young son speaks just as strongly about his character as his impressive presence and athleticism.

Ritz demonstrated his fertility at only two years old, successfully settling two of our mares on their first breeding attempts. His first foals have exceeded our expectations, displaying height, athletic conformation, elegance, and the unmistakable presence we hoped he would consistently produce. We believe Ritz offers breeders the opportunity to create not simply a beautifully colored Drum Horse, but a versatile, modern athlete with the temperament to become a cherished family partner.
A Privately Curated Breeding Opportunity

Ritz is not a high-volume commercial stallion and will never be broadly available. His breeding program is intentionally limited to preserve the exclusivity and quality of his offspring.

While he is currently dedicated to his continued training and is not available to outside mares, Crown Cavalo may release no more than five breeding doses annually to a carefully selected group of mares. Each pairing will be considered individually, with preference given to mares that complement Ritz’s conformation, temperament, height, athleticism, and the long-term vision of the Crown Cavalo breeding program.

For those seeking a Ritz Carlton foal, Crown Cavalo will also offer a limited number of thoughtfully planned offspring. These foals are created for discerning owners who value rarity, predictability, exceptional temperament, and the opportunity to own a horse from one of our most exclusive pairings.
