Research shows that the mayor contributes up to 65% of the genetic influence in her foals, making the quality of our mares one of the most important elements of our breeding program. For this reason, every mare an hour heard has been carefully hand-selected and evaluated for conformation, pedigree, performance, and character.
At crown cavallo we believe that each drum horse should possess the best qualities of the Gypsy Vanner, Clydesdale, and Shire. Which has prevented us from introducing many mares into our program. Combing through multiple different breeding programs throughout the United States but also internationally. With a close look at our pedigrees, you will notice bloodlines from Australia, Canada, England, Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, and entirely across the United States.
